IMPORTANT!
Note that halogen-based substances - such as
chlorine, bromine, iodine and so on - reduce
the strength of rust-free stainless steel.
- DO NOT use chlorine-based solutions (e.g. sodium hypochlorite)
- Rust-free stainless steel subjected to normal
wear acquires a regularly distributed patina.
Scouring powders and items such a Scotchbrite
or Brillo pads all alter this natural structure.

Cleaning:
Useful tip: Washing and rinsing down with cold water
from the taps fitted to the unit helps prevent
the formation of lime scum deposits
Natural cleaning substances:
- Diluted vinegar (20% vinegar / 80 % water)
- A lemon juice/salt solution is ideal for removing stains
- Toothpaste is useful for removing
encrustations and for grinding down minor scratches
- Common (non-abrasive) general household and
window-cleaning products are also suitable for cleaning stainless steel
-
Care:
For surfaces that look brand-new every day,
we recommend the use of Franke Multiclean liquid
